Diseases of the Peony- Washington State University

A MPS member brought attention to a very good publication on the diseases of the peony. Here in the mid west we do experience some difficulties with problems. Powdery Mildew and Botrytis are common ones we see. MPS gets questions from time to time such as; “Why do my peonies not bloom?” Disease can be one of the reasons. The link to the article is provided following and is also included in the resource section. Most of the issues are treatable or tolerated but in severe cases it will sometimes be necessary to did up you plant and dispose. The publication has detailed information and pictures covering most of the diseases of the peony.
