SCHEDULE OF EVENTS  12:00 pm  to 3:00 pm

12:00 pm: Presentation by Nate Bremer of Solaris Farms
“Insider Information – Investing in New, Novel and Not-to-Miss Introductions for Your Peony Collection”.

Join Nate Bremer for a visual peony bonanza exploring which recent (and past) introductions are candidates for any peony lover’s short list. In this presentation, you’ll learn what to look for in a great peony, and explore some cultivars worthy of your investment from an “insiders” point of view. You’ll also gain helpful background on the registration process, naming and marketing practices, and hints for scoring hard-to-find and rare peonies. You’ll come away with a better understanding about choosing buzz-worthy peonies to start a collection or to complement an already-full garden.

1:00 pm: Live Auction

We almost changed up the format but due to the number of excellent roots acquired, MPS is going to have its traditional live auction. There are about 60 items available, some never before offered and some old favorites. See list following.
